Join your host Jay, for a Chinese & South-East Asian ten-course tasting supper club at his home right by Crystal Palace train station!

Originally from Mainland China, he is a master of spices and flavours. He'll be presenting to you his signature fusion of Chinese and southeast Asian inspired dishes. Enjoy dishes like Pan Seared Scallops, Spicy Chicken Bao, Beer Duck, Tofu & Aubergine Hotpot,  Cumin Lamb... finishing off with Orange Cake, Fresh Mint Ice Cream.

Prepare to meet other likeminded foodies as you'll be dining family-style, sharing food with other guests. A warm welcome friendly atmosphere awaits. A great opportunity to meet people of all ages, from all walks of life.

This event is BYOB - bring your own drinks for the evening. Glasses and table water provided.

For this event it is not possible to change the menu or cater specifically for any allergies or dietary requirements. For those with serious allergies, please also note that cooking will involve nuts and gluten.

I was able to attend one of Jay Zhang's dinners in January, and it was an amazing experience. The food and menu were incredible, and Jay and his partner Chris were fantastic hosts. In addition, I got to spend the evening with the most interesting, engaging, and kind people I'd met in a long time (all strangers - I went alone). It was a truly unique dining and social experience.'

    This was one of the best dining out experiences I have enjoyed in London in a while. The Chinese and Southeast Asian Feast was indeed that and more - food prepared with love and passion and bursting with well balanced flavours...it was so exciting. The scallops were a memorable favourite. The success of the evening was not just because of the food. Jay and Chris were exemplary hosts. It could have been a daunting experience walking into a room to dine with 10 people you've never met before and for this reason alone the evening might have crashed but our hosts made everyone warmly welcomed and all of the guests as it turned out were super friendly and great conversationalists. I liked the brief or introduction given by Jay, the chef and about the food we would be getting. We helped ourselves to the portions we needed and there was plenty of everything without the feeling of overeating or waste. The venue, the home of our hosts was well appointed, uncrowded and very clean. I like that we were able to see the food being prepared - it was an open plan layout - but it was very clear much of the success and the wonderful outcome of the evening was down to the chemistry and love between Jay and Chris, they could be seen but no drama - it was all about the food and their guests. So professional. Excellent value for money. This was my first dining experience with them, I hope it won't be my last and I can't wait for the next opportunity to join them. I thank them for having me.

    The most delicious food; every dish from start to finish was a delight. All served by the warming and welcoming Jay and Chris in their lovely home with an interesting group of people - conversation didn't stop flowing.
